Meat Diet ~

In recent years,the meat diet has become a popular way of losing weigt.As the name indicates,during this diet,you will be eating only meat.To many,this indeed a 'celebration of the stomach' as they can continue to indulge in beef,chicken,pork,mutton,fish and other types of meat.It is claimed that,trough the meat diet,you can 

  • consume large amounts of protein and still lose weight
  • lose weight fast,but is not always sustainable
  • take it only a minimal amount of sugar and white flour
However,the effectiveness of the meat diet depens on close adherence (patuh peraturan) to all the requirements

Through currently many are on this kind of high-protein diet,there are many others who are still sceptical (ragu-ragu) about it.This is because
  • this type of diet may strain (meletihkan) your kidney
  • the intake of sturated fat may too high as animal protein is high in saturated fat
  • you may not have sufficiennt nutrients such as minerals and vitamins as you take in only limited of food
For severely obese individuals,the cardiovascular risks of a high protein diet may be worth taking in order to reduce the extra,well documented risks of severe or morbid obesity.
