THE FOUR FRIENDS

    Yoon Sang,Kok Yan,Lok Man, and Ah Seng were four good friens.All of them were scholars,except Ah Seng. He was a very simple person.

    One day the four friends came across a dead lion's bones.

"Let's bring the lion back of life," said Yoon Sang. "It'll show how clever we are!" Kok Yan and Lok Man agreed..

  "Bu-u-tt it wiil kill us," said Ah Seng. However,his friends did not listen to him .

     Yoon Sang put the lion's bones together. Kok Yan gave the animal flesh and skin. Then Lok Man started to put life into it. On seeing that,Ah Seng quickly climbed up a tree.

      Slowly the lion stood up.The tree scholars shouted for joy . Suddenly the lion saw them. 

At once it pounced on them.After eating it fill,it walked away.

      Ah Seng climbed down from tree.Sadly he walked home alone.
